B-Treat Lab Module is a
part of the Total Hospital Management System
(THMS). It can be set up as an entirely
independent software as well, dealing with
each and every task that goes on in a laboratory.
|
| |
Activities in a laboratory
start when the Doctor orders for a Test
to be conducted for a particular patient.
The extremely user-friendly interface enables
the doctor himself to directly order the
test on the system. The ordering system
is directly linked to the billing, thus
giving facility for monitoring the payments.
|
| |
B-Treat can also be set
making the billing as the first event of
all the activities in the Lab, which ensures
that no test is done in the laboratory unless
a billing is done for the same. In a multi-user
environment, billing and payment collection
can be done at any of the cash counters.
Once the billing is done, the corresponding
information goes to the Lab technicians
automatically. This in turn gives ample
time to the Lab personnel to be prepared
for the specimen collection even as the
patient actually reaches the Lab.
|
| |
The billing also sets up
a set of forms automatically for data entry
for the tests for which the billing has
been done. B-Treat's Dynamic Screen Modelling
System (DSMS) ensures that only the required
fields are brought onto the screen for that
particular test, avoiding confusions for
the operators. For every test reading normal
values are displayed side by side for quick
verifications. B-Treat's Criteria Based
Value Providing System (CBVPS) automatically
provides normal values depending on age,
gender and other criteria.
|
| |
Once the data entry is
over, test results can be printed out with
various options. When there are multiple
tests from various branches like Haematology,
Biochemistry, Serology etc. B-Treat's print
engine automatically groups them and prints
appropriately.
|
| |
There are facilities for
doctors located in their respective departments
to login anytime to the Lab module for quick
references to find out the progress of any
test, with options of printing the same.
This can avoid a lot of delays while dealing
with a patient and eventually enhances the
level of patient satisfaction.
|
| |
The Management Information
System (MIS) component provides various
financial statements in addition to test
wise statistical information.
|
| |
The most appreciated feature
of B-Treat Lab Module is its easy expandability.
Adding a new group, division, test etc.
can be done in seconds avoiding a programmer's
involvement as done in legacy systems. It
also has provisions for easy add/edit/delete
options for all Master items.
|
|
